Administrative Experience:

Dr. Dinaz R. Jeejeebhoy served as Head of the Department of Psychology at Loreto College from 2020 to 2024, providing strong academic leadership, overseeing curriculum development, faculty coordination, and departmental activities. She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Department of Psychology, where she facilitates program planning, academic mentoring, and quality assurance. Additionally, Dr. Jeejeebhoy is a member of the Board of Studies for postgraduate Psychology. Her administrative experience reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, collaborative governance, and the advancement of psychology education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Research Interests:

She has presented a number of scientific papers at seminars and conferences and was awarded the S. C. Gupta Best Paper Award in 2015 by the Indian Association of Clinical Psychology for her work on Borderline Personality Disorder. She is currently interested in Narrative ideas and practices and its application in clinical settings.

2015 – Participated and Presented a paper entitled ‘Psychopathology of Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder: A Neuropsychosocial Perspective’ at the 41st National Annual Conference of the Indian Association for Clinical Psychologists, held at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat in the S. C. Gupta Award Section and won the said award.

2013 – Speaker in the Symposium – Paper entitled ‘Is there order in the disorder? Investigating set shifting and planning in patients with OCD and BPD’ at the 39th National Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) from 18th – 20th January, 2013 at New Delhi.

2012 – Presented a paper in a Symposium on ‘Set Shifting: A Patho – Physiological Perspective’ at the XXII Annual Convention of National Academy of Psychology (NAoP), Christ University from 10 – 12 December, 2012, Bangalore.

2010 – Presented a paper entitled ‘Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Traits and Higher Cognitive Functions: A Correlational Study with OCD’ at the International Conference on ‘Recent Advances in Cognitive Science’ held in the Department of Psychology, Banaras Hindu University from 18th – 20th December 2010 and won the Best Paper Award, Tarafder, S, Bilimoria, D. D., Mukhopadhyay, P., and Das, S.

2010 – Case Presentation entitled ‘Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or Giftedness’ at Loreto College, Kalakriti on 24th September 2010.
