An Online Interactive Session titled "Transitioning to Tomorrow: A Journey into Higher Education through the College Orientation Programme" was organized by Loreto College, Kolkata on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. onwards. The programme received an enthusiastic response, with a total of 90 registered participants. The session commenced with a warm welcome, after which faculty members from various departments of Loreto College addressed the participants. They provided an in-depth overview of the Major, Minor, and IDC courses, offered by each department, explaining the academic structure and course combinations available to students.
Faculty members also highlighted the career prospects associated with each discipline. They discussed how the subjects offered at Loreto College help students develop essential skills, pursue higher studies, and explore diverse professional opportunities. This segment was particularly helpful for students seeking clarity on long-term pathways and subject relevance. The participants showed great enthusiasm and actively interacted throughout the session.
