In observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week (October 27th - November 2nd, 2025), as mandated by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) circular (F.No.NCTE-Vign013/18/2022-Vigilance Section-HQ), the B.Ed. Department of Loreto College, Kolkata, organised an Integrity Pledge session. The activity was conducted on October 27, 2025, to inaugurate the week, centred on the theme: "Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility".

All students of the B.Ed. Department, Semester-3 (Session 2024-2026), participated in the session. The event was conducted in a hybrid mode, ensuring that all students could take the pledge simultaneously, whether they were attending online or offline.

The "Integrity Pledge for Citizens" was administered to the students. They collectively read and affirmed their commitment to follow probity and the rule of law, to neither take nor offer bribes, and to perform all tasks in an honest and transparent manner. By taking this pledge, the student-teachers dedicated themselves to exhibiting integrity in their personal behaviour and to fostering a culture of honesty and vigilance in their future classrooms and communities.
