Training Session on DRILLBIT

On August 23, 2025, a training session was organized by the Central Library and the Library Committee of Loreto College in collaboration with Drillbit SoftTech India Pvt. Ltd. on DrillBit Plagiarism Detection Tool software. This software is used as a plagiarism detection and academic integrity tool by more than 1100 institutions all over India as part of Shodhsuddhi programme under INFLIBNET Centre and also empanelled with AICTE NEAT 3.0. Mr. Aakash from Drillbit SoftTech India Pvt. Ltd seamlessly guided all faculty members through different modalities of the software for making best use of it. The basic focus of this training was to make participants understand about the functionalities and their use of DrillBit in academic research settings. The target audience was the faculty members who are actively involved in academic research process. The training session was useful as it demonstrated about the basic features of Plagiarism software and it's several operations including to check similarity detection and AI detection processes as well as grammar of content.
