Anti-Ragging Committee Flyer-Making Competition
The Anti-Ragging Committee of Loreto College organised a Flyer-Making Competition from 7th -14th July on the theme of "Anti-Ragging Awareness,". The aim was spreading awareness against ragging and promoting a safe and welcoming environment within the college.
The judges evaluated the flyers based on the basis of the creativity of the design, the relevance of the content to the theme of anti-ragging, the visual impact of the presentation, and the originality and clarity with which the message was conveyed.
After a careful and thorough evaluation of all entries, three students were declared winners-Mondithoka Charity (Department of History, Semester II), secured the first position, followed by Anamika Singh (Department of Psychology, Semester II), who secured the second position. The third position was awarded to Poulomi Dey (Department of Political Science, Semester IV).
The results of the competition were formally declared on the 21st of July and certificates of recognition were given to the winners, acknowledging their creativity and contribution to spreading awareness on such an important issue.
Through this event, the Anti-Ragging Committee successfully engaged students in a creative exercise that doubled as a meaningful awareness campaign. The Flyer-Making Competition reaffirmed the college's commitment to maintaining a campus environment that is free from intimidation, harassment, or discrimination, and it highlighted the active role that students themselves can play in upholding these values.
