Leading with Integrity and Awareness: Building a Culture of Reflection, Responsibility, and Renewal
The Leadership Training Session titled "Leading with Integrity and Awareness: Building a Culture of Reflection, Responsibility, and Renewal" was organized on September 09, 2025 for faculty members with 6 years and less in service. The session conducted by Sr. Dr. A. Nirmala and Dr. Ranjita Dawn with the aim of fostering reflection, responsibility, and renewal among participants. The session was designed to blend self-awareness, practical activities, and group learning experiences that enabled participants to explore their leadership potential in a dynamic and interactive manner.
The session began with the reflective prayer song "Carry Your Candle" followed by the short film "SEED", which inspired participants to view leadership as a process of growth and resilience. Through the "Leadership in a Picture" activity, participants connected their emotions and personal experiences with leadership behaviours.
To strengthen collaboration and trust, participants took part in the engaging Egg Relay Challenge, which highlighted teamwork, problem-solving, and shared responsibility. The session concluded with the symbolic activity "Footsteps of Leadership", where participants wrote down personal commitments to guide their future leadership journey.
The training successfully combined reflection, interaction, and experiential learning. Participants left the session with deeper self-awareness, renewed motivation, and practical insights for strengthening their leadership practice.
