Silver Jubilee Celebration of Dr. Suparna Ghosh
Loreto College, Kolkata, joyfully celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Dr. Suparna Ghosh on Teacher Day which was celebrated on September 4, 2025. She completed 25 years of distinguished teaching service in the institution from April 2000 to April 2025. The celebration was held in recognition of her unwavering commitment, academic excellence, and wholehearted contribution to the College community.
The programme began with a felicitation by Dr. Sr. A. Nirmala, who presented Dr. Ghosh with a bouquet and a plaque as a token of appreciation for her dedicated service. In her address, Sr. Nirmala warmly acknowledged Dr. Ghosh's long-standing association with the College and her significant role in shaping young minds through her teaching and mentoring.
Dr. Neeta Dang, speaking as a colleague, shared her experiences of working alongside Dr. Ghosh, highlighting her professionalism, warmth, and collaborative spirit that have enriched the academic environment of Loreto College.
This was followed by Dr. Krishnokoli Hazra, Head of the Department, who spoke about Dr. Ghosh's outstanding dedication and commitment to her students and to the department. She emphasized Dr. Ghosh's tireless efforts in academic guidance, her involvement in departmental activities, and her remarkable contribution to the growth and reputation of the College.
The occasion was a heartfelt expression of gratitude and admiration for Dr. Ghosh's 25 years of service. The celebration concluded with warm wishes from the Loreto College community, who look forward to many more years of her association with the institution.
