Visit to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, Bengaluru
Dr. Ranjita Dawn, Assistant Professor and Member of IQAC, Loreto College, Kolkata visited the Networking Session on Quality Sustenance organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, Bengaluru on August 21, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to understand the quality assurance mechanisms, best practices, and innovative strategies adopted by the institution to enhance academic and administrative performance. Interaction with the IQAC team enabled greater insights.
Discussions and observations highlighted areas such as strategic planning, innovative initiatives like Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), ICT integration, stakeholder engagement, efficient documentation and data management, community outreach, research and publications, in-house research journals, and capacity-building programs for faculty and students alike. The visit offered significant insights into effective IQAC practices that drive sustained academic excellence, support the establishment and implementation of quality benchmarks, strengthen institutional preparedness for NAAC and NIRF, and promote the integration of a quality-driven culture across departments.
