Orientation Programme for Faculty and Office Staff on Understanding the POSH Act

On 8 July, 2025, an online orientation programme was organized by the Internal Committee, Loreto College, for all the faculty members and the office staff of Loreto College on understanding the key components of the POSH Act. The resource person was Ms. Neha Pradhan Arora, Co Founder and Executive Director, Mudita Foundation.

In an interactive session, Ms. Arora focussed on understanding the issue of sexual harassment and its distinction from other forms of harassment; key components of the law and the redressal mechanism available in the college. Illustrating her points with case studies, Ms Arora elucidated on various aspects of the Act and particularly answered questions on nebulous areas of the law and supporting policies that might be made by institutions. 40 participants attended the session.
