Online Session on Intellectual Property Rights
The Research and Development Cell of Loreto College, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized an enlightening Online Session on Intellectual Property Rights on 25th June 2025, from 6:00 PM onwards via Google Meet. The session commenced with a warm welcome address that set the tone for the evening.
The College was honoured to welcome Prof. Sarbajit Sengupta, retired professor from the Department of Economics and Politics, Viswa Bharati as the esteemed speaker for the evening. The speaker then took over the session and delivered an insightful and thought-provoking talk on the multifaceted aspects of Intellectual Property Rights. He delved into the relevance of IPR in academia and research, highlighting practical applications and key considerations for researchers and students alike. The talk was well-received and enriched the audience's understanding of how IPR intersects with their academic pursuits. The talk was followed by an engaging Question-and-Answer session, where attendees interacted with the speaker, seeking clarifications and further insights on various aspects of IPR.
