Signing of MoU between Loreto College, Kolkata and Soroptimist International of Calcutta

In a move to further social empowerment and equality, Loreto College, Kolkata signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Soroptimist International of Calcutta (SIC) on January 13, 2025. The collaboration aims to launch various programmes focusing on education, leadership development, healthcare, environmental sustainability, violence and conflict resolution, and economic empowerment with special focus on women�s welfare through mutually beneficial programmes, collaborations, workshops, and community outreach activities. The partnership will include initiatives such as mentorship and internship opportunities and awareness campaigns to promote human rights and gender equality.
