Med Gala 2024

Students from Semesters I and III of Loreto College participated in the inter-college fest, Med Gala, organised by the students of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Jadavpur University on January 30, January 31, and February 1, 2024. On the first day of the event, Sananda Dey of the Department of English secured the third position in Bengali creative writing. In the Photo Story competition, Prapti Bhattacharya of the Department of Economics secured the first position, followed by Kazi Fatema Parveen of the Department of Political Science in the second position and Atreyee Banerjee of the Department of History in the third position along with another student from Women’s College. On the second day of the event, Vedika Prabhakar of the Department of History secured the first position in Meme Bazi (meme-making competition). It was a rewarding experience for all the students who took part in this event and showcased their creative prowess.
