Greenify: Plant Distribution by Greenovation Club, W.E. Nature Society

Inspiring people to increase greenery on Earth, the Greenovation Club of Loreto College, Kolkata conducted a plant distribution event on January 9 and 10, 2024. SwitchON played a major role as the sponsor for the event. The plants were sourced from a nursery in AJ Block, Salt Lake. 50 plants were distributed in total, 18 among the staff and 32 among the students. There were a variety of plants, including marigold, pansy, celosia, petunia, and other flowering plants. The event was aimed at engaging the youth in protecting the environment and taking small initiatives in their everyday lives to inculcate the essence of sustainability. The plants distributed would serve as a valuable aesthetic addition to their homes while also making the environment healthier for habitation and promoting mental well-being.
