B.Ed. Special Assembly in Memory of Mary Ward

The students of Semester I of the Department of B.Ed., Loreto College organised a special assembly in memory of our founder Mary Ward on January 29, 2024 under the supervision of Sister Molly. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Sr. Molly and the Officiating Principal, Dr. Debika Guha.

The assembly comprised various segments that paid homage to Mary Ward’s enduring legacy. A prayer hymn set a reflective tone, followed by a compelling role play illustrating the profound maxims of Mary Ward. The assembly also included intercessions, offering moments of reflection and gratitude for the ideals she instilled.

A visually engaging PowerPoint presentation on Mary Ward’s life and legacy provided insightful perspectives. The assembly was attended by the teachers of the Department of B.Ed., Sister Molly, and the Officiating Principal, making it a collective and heartfelt tribute to Mary Ward.
