Speech on Selected Indian Mathematicians: Department of B.Ed.

On November 9, 2023, the Department of B.Ed., Loreto College, Kolkata celebrated Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav by organising an activity entitled “Speech on Selected Indian Mathematicians.” The event was conducted at Loreto Day School, Bowbazar and involved the participation of 49 students of the sixth standard. Speeches on some of the greatest mathematicians of India had been carefully prepared by the B.Ed. trainees and were read out in class by students of the school. Their classmates displayed great enthusiasm and interest as they listened to the speeches and learned about the contributions of the great mathematicians. The event was a major success as it proved to be informative and enriching for the students as well as the B.Ed. trainees.
