B.Ed. Orientation Day Programme

On October 9, 2023, the Department of B.Ed., Loreto College, Kolkata organized an orientation programme to welcome the newly admitted Semester I students of the department. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal Sister Dr. Christine Coutinho and a prayer service by the B.Ed. Semester III students.

Sr. Dr. Coutinho introduced the college, the B. Ed. Department, and the faculty members to the students, with a special focus on the persevering history and accomplishments of the department. There were refreshments for everyone present. This was followed by a panel discussion during which the Semester III students introduced the Semester I students to the ways of the college and the code of conduct. The programme ended with the Head of the Department, Dr. Kaustuva Banerjee, addressing the new students and wishing them growth and learning in their two-year journey in the institution.
