ICE Talks

Loreto College, Kolkata was an associate partner in the Information, Communication and Entertainment Talks organised by NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata from June 19 to June 22, 2021. ICE Talks was an online talk series that deliberated on digital transformations, new media, digital storytelling, design, publishing, what the future holds for media and issues of social significance. Students got an opportunity to listen to some of the top professionals from their respective fields. Some of the brightest alumnae of Loreto, who are regarded as institutions in the field of media and publishing, like Rajeswari Vaidyanathan, Indrani Bagchi, Ruchi Singh, Anuja Gupta, Shreya Sen Handley, Sravasti Datta, Anjum Katyal and Jayapriya Vasudevan enlightened all with their power pact talks. The ICE Talks also had some noted professionals from across newspapers, photography, storytelling, advertising, public relations, branding, communication, editing and academics. It was a great learning platform for the students as they were introduced to an emerging world of storytelling. Top-notch ideas on publishing, editing, entrepreneurship and digital interactions were major takeaways from the event.
