Heal the World



NSHM School of Media and Communication and NSHM Centre for Creative and Performing Arts (Aangan) presented Heal the World on May 21, 2021. At these difficult times due to the pandemic, it is essential to keep our spirits high. Heal the World was an attempt to infuse among the audience an air of positivity and to make us believe that we shall overcome. Loreto College being an academic collaborator of NSHM took an active part in this event. Hymns on Love, Faith and Hope by Loreto Sisters Annet, Ablin, Lily, Manjula, Priyanka, Adrina and Ms Sharon on the guitar set the mood for the evening. This was followed by a message on the present scenario by Mr Sumit Agarwal, founder of PR Signal. A soulful song by Ishanee Chatterjee, a student of Loreto College, enthralled the audience. There were several performances by students from NSHM each celebrating the spirit of life. Ms Sampa Chowdhury, a mental wellbeing associate, discussed ways to ward off the depression of quarantined life and lockdown. Ms Parama Gupta, Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology at NSHM Knowledge Campus also shared her ideas about mental wellbeing. Yogesh Chabria, bestselling author, entrepreneur and founder of Happionaire shared positive messages about life. It was an evening that exhumed a lot of positive vibes!
