100 in 100 Campaign: In Conversation with Loreto College

On April 7, 2021 students from the Political Science Department participated in an interactive session with the Consul for Public Affairs and Director of the American Centre at the U.S. Consulate in Kolkata, Ms Monica Shie.

After a brief review of the 100 days of the Biden administration and relations between the United States and India. Ms Shie responded to a wide range of questions relating to QUAD, racial discrimination, H-1B visa and the life of a diplomat. Other officials of the American Centre spoke about the library facilities at the American Centre and the services provided to students who wish to pursue higher education in the United States.
