The Medium of Instruction in this college is English, hence the ability to communicate in English is absolutely necessary.
Kindly note: All classes at Loreto College are conducted in English. Hence, fluency in English is very essential for a student to be able to understand/follow classes. The student must also be able to express herself freely in English to enable her to do well in her written work/viva voce. This applies to all subjects except Hindi and Bengali. In accepting admission at Loreto College you are assuring us that you will be able to comply with this requirement.

Please look specially at your uploads of the Admit Card of X and the Mark sheet of XII – if they are not clear or have been revised, please give us the new / clear one from your DigiLocker. Your photograph (coloured) should be a recent one and signature (in black ink) should also be very clear.

At present, we have given you the elective subjects for which you had applied. If you have changed your mind about the electives, please let us know immediately. We repeat, if we do not have sufficient applicants for the self-financing courses, we will not be able to offer them.

Applicants who asked for Psychology as an elective subject, please note that we do not offer Psychology to a student who did not have the subject in XII. If you have opted for Psychology, without having studied it, please give us an alternative subject as an elective.

Since our seats for Elective Sociology are full, we cannot accomodate any more students. Hence, if you had requested Sociology, we have suggested an alternative.

Please note, fees for all self-financing Elective subjects also, have to be paid every quarter.
