Mary Ward Day is observed on the 30th of January and a special assembly was organised at the college on this day this year. Mrs. Hena Ahmed’s farewell followed the special assembly.

The program commenced with Sr. Christine Coutinho, Principal, Loreto College addressing the gathering. A small video clip on Mary Ward’s life was screened and a short prayer service was conducted by the members of the AICUF society.

The students of the B.Ed as well as the undergraduate wing of the college put up a few performances for Mrs. Ahmed’s farewell. The students has also made a small power-point presentation on Mrs. Ahmed’s journey in Loreto College.
